Every effort will be made to accommodate your preference for time and day, but students are also matched according to age, skill development and musical goals. Classes are sometimes regrouped to provide the best learning situation.

Class Attendance
Only enrolled students and their parents or other adults may attend classes. In order to maintain an effective classroom environment for all students we ask that parents arrange childcare for other children. Guests may be invited from time to time with the advance permission of the instructor.

Some Advice on Studying Music
You or your child’s interest in music classes may not always maintain a steady level. Some weeks there may be lots of practice sessions and other weeks the practice sessions may be infrequent. Consistent attendance will be one key to success. Classes are fun and interesting, so do not skip a class because you haven’t practiced as much as you should have. Just being there will help your child progress.

Materials
There will be a small materials fee each new semester. It will vary by class.

Missed Class
Due to the fact that each of the classes are progressing at their own pace it will not be possible to make up lessons. It will be your responsibility to call for homework if you cannot come to class.

Picking Up Your Students
Due to the limited space in the teaching facility it is not possible for students to wait at the school to be picked up after class. You must pick up your child precisely on time so the next group can start without interruption. It is not safe for your child to wait alone outside the school and the music school offers no adult supervision for students whose parents are late picking them up. The Treehouse cannot take responsibility for your student beyond your scheduled lesson time and will not be held liable for any situation arising from parents’ failure to pick up their child. Please be prompt in picking up your student at the last class of the day.
